V6SHO:About
About the Ford Taurus SHO
In 1989 Ford introduced a high-performance version of its very popular Taurus sedan, powered by a four-valve, dual-intake-runner engine designed and built by Yamaha. The SHO Super High Output engine made 73 horsepower per liter, at that time the highest output per liter of any engine in any production US automobile.
About WikiSHO.com
WikiSHO.com was created in 2008 as a replacement for the aging, out of date, and immutable SHOTimes.com website. It is community-editable (just create an account and log in, to avoid the spam bots) and hopefully kept up to date and accurate by those of us who know these cars well. It is fully run and supported by Jon Heese, so if this site helped you in some way, please consider donating to help pay the server bill.
If you have technical problems with the site, or specifically the wiki software it runs on, please drop Jon a note at wikisho@jonheese.com. Thanks.
